Homemaker Services

The Preble County Council on Aging Homemaker Service is available to persons age 60 or older who reside in Preble County. This program is for those who are more frail than others and have acute or chronic conditions that prevent them from doing all that needs to be done to keep their homes clean and neat.

CALL THE PREBLE COUNTY SENIOR CENTER

FOR HOMEMAKER SERVICES

The Preble County Council on Aging contracts with local agencies to provide a Homemaker Service. The Homemaker Service is for an individual or a couple who live alone and who are more frail that others and have acute or chronic conditions that prevent them from doing all that needs to be done.

We provide:

- light housekeeping

- laundering clothes

- grocery shopping

- going to the pharmacy or bank

- light meal preparation

This service is prioritized to ensure that those most in need receive the service. We will come to your home to complete an assessment, discuss your needs, and make a referral to our contracting agents. They will follow up with you to see that you have received the services. Anytime there is a concern or question, they are there for you. Please call Barb Felton, Homemaker Manager, at (937) 456-4947 or 1-800-238-5146 for more information or to make an appointment at the Senior Center. In-home appointments are also available.
