PREBLE COUNTY COUNCIL ON AGING MEMBERSHIP

$10.00 Yearly

ARE YOU A MEMBER?

Individuals age 50 and older are eligible to become members of the Preble County Council on Aging by paying a $10 yearly membership fee. Membership fees are due in January of each month.

Support the Preble County Senior Center and continue receiving a bi-monthly “Senior Scene” Newsletter without interruption by paying your $10 membership dues in a timely manner.  We are now taking membership dues for 2017.  Memberships paid after September 1st will be extended through December 31, 2017 as part of our “Early Bird’ Registration Program.  You must be a paid member of the Preble County Senior Center to receive a newsletter.

BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP

There are several benefits of Preble County Council on Aging membership:

VOTING RIGHTS

You have voting rights at the annual meeting in June. You are able to vote on a slate of nominees to serve on the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees set the policies and make plans for the future of PCCOA.

RENT THE GREAT ROOM

Rent The Great Room at the Senior Center, when available, at a reduced rate. You can celebrate family birthdays, holiday meals, anniversaries, reunions, etc.

BI-MONTHLY NEWSLETTER

You are automatically placed on our mailing list to receive the Senior Center’s bi-monthly “Senior Scene” newsletter, with the latest information on planned trips and events and activities. You can also choose to receive the newsletter electronically. As you travel with the Senior Center, you will receive information on trips as they are planned and flyers are available. Members only receive a bi-monthly newsletter.

DISCOUNTS

Members receive a discounted price on Senior Center planned one-day trips, Senior Center Mini-Trips, some events and activities, and rentals. You must present your membership card to receive the discounted price.

Your membership fee also helps support senior services that we provide to senior citizens in Preble County.

REFER A FRIEND!

Tell your friends and adult family members about the Senior Center. We would love to have them join and participate in activities and events.

PLEASE NOTE: You do not need to be a member to participate in Senior Center events and activities and/or to receive Council on Aging services, but you must be a member to receive the Preble County Senior Center’s bi-monthly “Senior Scene” Newsletter and discounts on some activities, special events, and trips
