All services for persons aged 60 or better who live in Preble County.
Income Requirements for specified services – at or below 200% Federal Poverty Guidelines

Emergency Fund – MUST BE INCOME ELIGIBLE (See above)

  • Funds needed to avoid eviction or disconnection of utilities
  • Medical Items not available through Community Care Closet or the older adult’s medical provider (i.e. walkers, canes, etc.)
  • Household supplies (i.e. paper products, dish soap, laundry supplies, towels, etc.)
  • Necessary furniture such as a bed and bedding, refrigerators
  • Other services at the discretion of the Director or her designee

Up to $500 per service request
 
Community Care Closet

  • Items such as pill cutters, pill planners, blankets, measuring spoons, flashlights, light bulbs, fans, heaters, co2 alarms, whistles, radios, batteries, non-skid tape, etc.
  • Other items available upon request

 
Respite- MUST BE INCOME ELIGIBLE (See above)

  • Respite care means intermittent or regularly scheduled temporary, non-medical care and or supervision provided in the person’s home.
  • Must need 24/7 care
  • Up to 10 hours per month for eligible adults
